I'm Joe Lane, the husband of Realtor® Colleen Lane.  I do the property managing, real estate, as well as our internet marketing for The Lane Real Estate Team.  This account will be my account dedicated to property management and real estate topics.

Colleen and I have had investment properties for the better part of 23 years, with our start beginning in San Diego North County, California.

We relocated to the Tri Cities Washington area and started with 22 rental units.  At present, we have 8 rental units and 2 commercial investment parcels.  My job is to manage them!

We manage several blogs (some new, some old, perhaps outdated) related to the real estate industry. From our real estate experience we author property management, property maintenance, and real estate technology blogs, often times discussing issues related to or relevant to our Tri-Cities, Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, and investment real estate blogs. Our daughter has jumped on board adding a Tri-Cities WSU blog. Me, ever the health nut, author a blog devoted to those desiring to be a healthy real estate agent. Did we miss anything?

Some interesting trivia about the quality of my(our) property management experience:

• We have never been to court.
• We have never hired an attorney.
• We have never had an eviction.
• We have never lost money on an investment property of any kind.
• We maintain win/win relationships with our tenants.
• We keep our fingers crossed!  :o)
